Privacy Policy
Quiet Creek Press (“we”, “us”) runs quietcreekpress.com, a site about coloring books: our own books, free printable coloring pages, and guides that recommend coloring books and supplies. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version
- You can browse the site and download the free coloring pages without an account and without giving us any personal information.
- The site itself sets no tracking cookies and shows no ads.
- If you join our email list, we keep your email address to send you the emails you asked for, until you unsubscribe.
- When you click through to Amazon, Etsy or a social network, that company’s own privacy policy applies there.
Information collected when you visit
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical information when your browser loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Its security features may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people from automated traffic. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies or similar tracking, does not follow you across other websites, and gives us only totals, such as the number of visits to a page and the countries and sites visitors come from.
Our email list
If you sign up for our free sample pack, the form sends your email address to Brevo, the service we use to send our emails. Brevo first sends you a link to confirm, and you are not added until you click it. We use your address only to send the sample pack and our monthly email with a new free page, a guide and a book. We do not sell or share it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. Brevo also records basic delivery information, such as whether an email was opened. Its handling of this data is described in the Brevo Privacy Policy.
Links to Amazon
Many links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. When you click one, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so it can tell that you came from us, which is how we earn a commission on a qualifying purchase. Amazon does not tell us who you are or what you bought. Amazon’s use of your information is covered by the Amazon Privacy Notice, linked at the bottom of every amazon.com page. Our Etsy shop
Links to our Etsy shop take you to Etsy, where Etsy’s Privacy Policy applies. If you buy from us there, Etsy shares the order details a seller needs, such as your name and the email Etsy uses for the order. We use that information only to deliver your purchase and answer questions about it.
Social media
The icons at the top and bottom of each page link to our profiles on Etsy, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. They are plain links: nothing from those networks loads on this site until you click one. Once you are on a network’s site, its own privacy policy applies.
Free printable pages
The free coloring pages download directly, with no sign-up. We do not record who downloads them.
Children
Some of our books and free pages are for children, but this site is meant for the parents, grandparents, teachers and other adults who choose them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, for example by joining the email list, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link at the bottom of each one.
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. In practice that is only your email address, if you joined our list, and order details from Etsy, if you bought from our shop.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site works without them.
Depending on where you live, for example in California or the European Union, the law may give you further rights over your personal information. Email us and we will help with any request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, for example by adding a new service, we will update this page and the date at the top.
